The Technical Support Specialist will receive transferred calls, troubleshoot issues, advise end users on the appropriate resolution and perform a variety of network support tasks.


  • Exceptional support experience with external clients
  • Support experience with general networking, TCP/IP, and routers
  • Experience supported VMWare highly preferred
  • Proven experience working in a team environment
  • Any experience in the field of cybersecurity a plus 


  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service, listening and questioning skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor a less technical audience
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Interest in, and ability to, conduct research into a wide range of networking issues
  • Desire to learn more about cybersecurity and grow with an organization
  • Ability to absorb information quickly; retain information learned
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work independently, with no direct supervision
  • Demonstrated leadership in improving processes or initiating change to make stronger team members on support team
