The Paid Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Manager will oversee and own the day-to-day management of paid advertising programs, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize campaign performance. In this role you will implement best practices across advertising programs by utilizing leading technologies and techniques. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing existing campaigns, creating new campaigns to deliver lead flow, and developing new customer acquisition channels.


  • Manage a multi-million-dollar ad program across multiple platforms, driving improvements in lead quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Execute and measure digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels: search, display, social media, and other channels (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn)
  • Own the full life cycle (strategy, development, deployment, optimization and reporting) of paid search campaigns
  • Deliver optimizations and business insights through weekly, monthly performance analysis – continually measure and optimize ROAS
  • Work collaboratively with product marketing and creative teams to write and optimize ad copy, landing pages, and other creative assets
  • Effectively communicate performance and status to senior management
  • Work with the SEO team to drive alignment and optimizations across SEO and SEM
  • Stay up to date with the latest Paid Search and Paid Social trends and strategies
  • Monitor the competitive landscape within the industry


  • 3+ years of SEM experience
  • Experience managing digital advertising budget of at least $1M
  • Google Analytics Certification, Google Ads Display Certification, Google Ads Search Certification - or relevant comparable experience
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Display Networks, Microsoft Ads
  • Experience with SEO tools, such as Search Console, Moz, SpyFu, SEMRush
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint
