Skills Summary:

  • Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understand document processing and document formatting standards
  • Possess a demonstrated ability to manipulate and merge data tables, and complex formatting in Word (Word skills will be tested as part of the interview process)
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
  • Exhibit excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and report writing expertise
  • Show strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently, setting priorities to meet deadlines
  • Be a self-starter with advanced time management skills
  • Maintain strong problem-solving proficiency and resourcefulness
  • Have the ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English and/or related discipline preferred
  • 2+ years experience in proofreading or editing documents
  • Excellent proofreading, documentation and Microsoft Word skills
  • Strong communication, advanced grammar and spelling
  • Exceptional attention to fine details
